Business phones and SIP
Cloud phone systems and lines, supplied by Gould as a Voiceflex partner.
Gould Electronics designs, supplies and supports the Voiceflex range for UK businesses. That covers a hosted phone system, SIP trunks onto a system you already run, a contact centre, AI on the phones, and the broadband connection underneath it.
End of January 2027
The old phone network is being switched off
Openreach is withdrawing traditional phone lines, with the switch-off dated for the end of January 2027. A business still on a BT line or ISDN needs a digital service before that date. The same change covers anything else sitting on that line: an alarm, a card machine, door entry, a CCTV dialler and a fax machine.
Gould ports the numbers you want to keep and puts the right Voiceflex service in place, from a single-line replacement up to a full phone system.
Start from what you have today
One line, or a few
A shop, a workshop or a home office still on a BT socket. My IP Voice replaces that line and keeps alarms, card machines and door entry online.

SIP trunks connect the handsets and PBX you already have to the Voiceflex network.

Voiceflex Flow is a hosted system. Licences move between staff, and the desk phone, softphone and mobile app share one extension.

FTTC, SoGEA and full fibre, with a managed router where you want Voiceflex to watch the connection the phones depend on.

Voiceflex Flow
Flow is the phone system for a business that wants the switchboard in the cloud. A licence is not tied to one person or one number, so it can move when staff change. Desk phones, the softphone and the mobile app all sit on the same extension.
Licences
- Basic, Essentials, UC and Business, each supplied with calls
- UK geographic and mobile calls are included, within a fair-use allowance we confirm on the quote
- 30-day, 12-month and 36-month terms
- A separate rate for schools and charities
- Analytics is included on every licence: agents, calls and profiles, with live queue figures and a CSV export
Add when you need them
- AI Assist: transcripts, summaries and action points from recorded calls
- Voice tickets, so a call becomes a job that can be assigned and annotated
- Call recording kept for 2, 3 or 5 years, and 7 years on request
- CC Pro contact-centre tools, CRM contact look-up, and integrations
- Advanced call routing for IVRs that make decisions mid-call

SIP trunks, numbers and porting
A SIP trunk is the line into the Voiceflex network. It suits a business that is happy with its handsets and PBX and needs the ISDN or BT lines replaced underneath them.
Trunks
- A standard trunk, billed for the channel, with calls on top
- A bundled trunk, with UK calls included
- Call recording, and storage of those recordings
- Automatic failover, set up per site
- Fax to email
- International SIP, including in-country breakout and emergency calling
Numbers
- New 01, 02 and 03 numbers, including a block
- A chosen or gold number
- 08 numbers
- Port a single number or a whole range onto Voiceflex, and keep the numbers your customers already dial
- International inbound numbers
- Large porting projects, including estates of more than 1,000 numbers, are quoted as a project
One traditional line
My IP Voice
My IP Voice is the straight swap for a BT phone line. It carries ordinary calls, and it is also the path for equipment that still expects a phone socket: alarms, card machines, door entry, CCTV diallers and fax.
- A new number, or the number you have today moved across
- A 30-day service, so a single site is not locked into a long phone-system contract
- Ordered and supported by Gould, on the Voiceflex network
People who answer a queue
Contact centre
Flow CC Pro is an add-on for a Flow user. It adds queue tools, call-back instead of holding, delayed hunt groups, wrap-up time, live dashboards, and a supervisor listening in.
Answer, route and write it up
AI on calls and in meetings
Voiceflex VoiceAI
A voice agent that holds a normal conversation: it answers questions, takes an enquiry, books an appointment, qualifies a lead, and hands the caller to a person.
- Pay as you go, or an inclusive bundle of 100, 500 or 1,000 minutes
- Extra agents if more than one is needed
- Web chat and email agents on the same platform
- Transcripts, call summaries and conversation analytics
AI Conversational IVR
Sits in front of the phone system you already have. Callers speak normally instead of working through a press-1 menu, and the call is routed from what they say. It is quoted per channel.
Meeting notes
- Meeting Insights, in Basic, Essential, Pro and Premium. Records and transcribes online meetings, with longer meetings and longer storage on the higher plans.
- Voiceflex AI Meeting, in Meeting, Business and Enterprise. A monthly pool of 30, 40 or 50 hours per user, transcription in more than 100 languages, and CRM and VoIP integration on Business and Enterprise.
- AI Assist inside Flow, for transcripts and summaries of phone calls rather than meetings
Taking card details by phone
PCI voice payments
For a business that takes card payments on a call. The customer enters the card details so the agent never sees or hears them, and the call recording does not have to be paused or cut to stay compliant.
- A one-off set-up
- A licence for each user who takes payments
- A 12-month term
The connection under the phones
Business broadband
Voiceflex phone services need a stable internet connection. Gould can supply that connection with the phone system, after a check on what the address can get.
Connections
- Fibre to the cabinet, including G.fast where it is available
- SoGEA, broadband with no traditional phone line attached
- Full fibre, from an entry speed up to 1,800 Mbps download
- A 12-month term
- Self-install, or an engineer visit, depending on the line and the building
With the router looked after
- A Voiceflex-managed service: monitoring, and a router supplied with the circuit
- Static IP addresses where a firewall, an alarm or a server needs one
- Gould arranges the broadband order, the number port and the phone build as one job
